These types of ads have been plastered all over the internet to lure people into joining online rebate processing programs. I personally even get advertisements like this from spam emails in my inbox. 
Rebate processing jobs are so effectively advertised that many people gladly pay the upfront costs believing that they will recoup that money within days of working. Others would probably pay even more for the opportunity since it actually seems like a really great way to make money from home. 

So, what’s the deal? Are they really legitimate? 
In a word? No! I haven't found a 'single rebate processing job' that's legitimate. In fact there is no such thing as a rebate processing jobs! That's right, no such thing. Someone simply made it up and started charging $197 for it. 
What you see advertised online are internet marketing opportunities or other related money-making systems cleverly disguised as rebate processing jobs.
